Resin material Features and Applications
ABS Toughness, gloss surface and easy processing; excellent dimensional stability and high impact strength. There are more than one hundred different grades with different performance. Commonly used in automobiles, home appliances, printers and packaging products.
Flame Retardant ABS With flame retardant properties, enhanced fluidity, easy decomposition and carbonization. Commonly used in electrical product housings.
ABS+glass fiber Glass fiber material is added for enhanced strength and toughness. The fluidity is weakened, and the internal stress is increased. Commonly used for wear-resistant and corrosion-resistant products.
ABS+AS Mixed with AS, combining the advantages of both. Toughness and hardness are neutralized, and fluidity is increased. Mostly used for molding toys and appliances.
ABS+PC Alloy materials, mostly used in mobile phone casings, electrical casings, electrical parts and automobile accessories.
PA6 It has certain toughness, good fluidity, good impact strength, strong corrosion resistance, good mechanical strength and wear-resistance. It is highly absorbent and must be kept dry to reduce contact with air. To manufacture the bearings, cams, pulleys, pump impellers, fan blades, worm gears, high-pressure seals, oil-resistant gaskets, etc.
PA6+glass fiber Glass fiber reinforced material. Toughness and strength are improved, fluidity is reduced, glass fiber texture is obvious on the surface, and it is easy to decompose at high temperature. It is used for forming internal wear-resistant parts.
PA12 It has certain toughness, good fluidity, good impact strength, strong corrosion resistance, and easy to decompose at high temperature. Commonly used in cable sleeves, mechanical cams, sliding mechanisms and bearings.
PA12+glass fiber Glass fiber reinforced material. Toughness and strength are improved, fluidity is reduced, glass fiber texture is obvious on the surface, and it is easy to decompose at high temperature.
PA66 Widely used in the automotive industry, instrument housings, and other products that require impact resistance and high strength requirements. Improved toughness, reduced fluidity, good impact strength, strong corrosion resistance, and good cold resistance.
PA66+glass fiber Glass fiber reinforced material. Toughness and strength are improved, fluidity is reduced, glass fiber texture is obvious on the surface, and it is easy to decompose at high temperature.
PBT Widely used in household appliances, electrical components and the automotive industry. It has good toughness, hardness, good fluidity, good flame retardancy, high mechanical strength, excellent chemical resistance and easy deformation.
PBT+glass fiber Glass fiber reinforced material. Toughness and mechanical strength are improved, fluidity is reduced, and deformation is reduced.
PC Widely used in electrical and commercial equipment, and transportation industry. Very strong toughness, high hardness, weak light transmission, and poor fluidity. Commonly known as bulletproof plastic, it is a kind of engineering plastic. Transparent materials are also used for lens body molding.
PC+glass fiber Its toughness and hardness are fully exerted, and it has strong corrosion resistance, and can replace most metal parts in practical applications.
PC+PBT Combine the advantages of both. Gearboxes and automotive bumper machines are required to be formed into products with chemical resistance, corrosion resistance, thermal stability, and impact resistance.
PE-HD Used in refrigerator containers, storage containers, household kitchen utensils, sealed lids, etc. High density, relative molecular mass, soft texture, good cold resistance, good chemical stability and low water absorption. The higher the molecular weight, the worse the fluidity, but the better the impact resistance.
PE-LD For bowls, cabinets, pipe connectors. Low density, relative molecular mass, soft texture, good cold resistance, good chemical stability and low water absorption. The shrinkage rate after forming is high, between 1.5% -4%. Used in blow molding and compression molding processes.
PEI Strong toughness, strength, good mechanical properties, strong corrosion resistance, high insulation, can replace some metal forming.
PEI+glass fiber With glass fiber the toughness and strength are enhanced. Mostly used for forming internal functional parts of electrical appliances.
PET Normal toughness, good strength and mechanical properties, and is easy to carbonize at high temperatures. It is mostly used in the automotive industry, electrical components and industrial applications.
PET+glass fiber With glass fiber the toughness and strength are enhanced, easy to carbonize at high temperature. Mostly used for forming internal parts of electrical appliances and external easy-wear parts.
PMMA High hardness, strong light transmission, white light penetration up to 92%, is the best light transmission of all transparent materials, commonly known as acrylic, organic glass. Widely used in the molding of mirrors and optical discs.
POM Very low coefficient of friction and good geometric stability, especially suitable for making gears and bearings. Due to its high temperature resistance, it is suitable for pipeline devices, lawn equipment. Decomposes easily at high temperatures.
POM+glass fiber With the addition of glass fiber, the advantages of the material are enhanced. Reduced fluidity, easy decomposition, easy carbonization, can replace some metal forming.
PP Strong flexibility, good viscosity, good fluidity, high stability, no decomposition at high temperature. Mainly used in small appliances, toys, washing machines, auto parts and water supply, heating systems
PP+glass fiber The improved properties such as viscosity, fluidity and stability are reduced. Toughness is enhanced and it will not decompose under high temperature for a long time.
PPE For household products, electrical equipment, etc. Normal toughness, strength and mechanical properties are good, and it is not easy to decompose at high temperature.
PPO Excellent water vapor resistance, strong dimensional stability, excellent electrical insulation, poor fluidity, and stress cracking. Using for LED reflection cover, charger housing, compressor cover, washing machine electrical box, water valve accessories etc.
PS Commonly used in product packaging, household goods, toys, electrical equipment. Divided into GPPS and HIPS. Is the most widely used civilian plastic.
Flame Retardant PS With flame retardant the properties is easy to decompose, easy to carbonize, and corrosive, and is mostly used for electrical product shells.
PVC Used in water supply pipes, household pipes, electrical enclosures, electronic product packaging, medical equipment, food packaging, etc. Non-flammability, high strength, weather resistance, excellent geometric stability, good fluidity, and good flexibility.
AS Using for electrical appliances, household goods, automotive industry, household goods, cosmetics packaging. Transparency is second only to PMMA and higher than PC and ABS. Compared with PMMA, it has lower hardness and increased fluidity.
AS+glass fiber After adding glass fiber, the strength and resistance to thermal deformation are enhanced, and it has certain toughness.
PPS Good chemical resistance, special rigidity, poor toughness, low impact strength, unstable colloid after melting, mostly used for the formation of internal functional bonds.
PEEK High temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, wear resistance, high strength and low noise, because of its excellent mechanical properties can replace metals, and are mostly used for the formation of wear-resistant gears.
PPA High temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, wear resistance, good mechanical properties, low shrinkage, not easy to decompose at high temperature, can replace some metal parts
RUBBER It has strong flexibility and elasticity, and is mostly used for blow molding and compression molding.
